This morning I've been experimenting a bit with our palm tree.I liked this one the best. I know It's a bit abstract and all that, but I was quite happy with the composition and the way the light seems to radiate between the leaves.

Your a very good photographer, any tips?
First of all, thank you very much!
As for tips:
- Shoot! Take loads of pictures. It's the only way to get to know your camera and hone your skills.
- Stay away from auto mode. I'd say use manual mode, but at least set it to aperture or shutter priority.
- Surf around on flickr for inspiration. It opens your eyes to other ways of seeing things and techniques you hadn't thought of.
