Panoramic Porto

With only a 50mm lens getting the whole bridge on it is not really doable. Solution? Take nine pictures and add some photoshop magic...

here's some more :-)

And here are another couple of pix I finished :-)

Quickly before going to work

Just finished another one.
This one was taken on the evening of the Sao Joao celebrations.
Very nice and definitely worth the trip to go and experience it!

And we're back

Hello my faithful and patient audience :-)
After having moved to another appartment, and having to decorate it (painting, painting and ow yes, some more painting) I'm finally back at the wheel of this thing :-)
Anyone who is in a similar position may want to look into having Article Writing Services write content for their site.
This picture was taken on our holiday in Portugal and after having painted the bathroom in a very nice, if not a little dark, blue, I remembered it because I might get it printed on canvas for the whole marine theme that's going on :-)
The iPhone version is as usual, here.

Lighthouse

The lighthouse of Cabo Sao Vicente. picture taken from the Fortress in Sagres.
For test purposes, this is a PNG file instead of a JPG. I'm trying to see if there's a quality difference that makes the larger file size worth the switch...
iPhone version here (also PNG).

That holiday feeling

Thought I'd treat you all to a nice sunny picture in these dreary times of 'winter'.

Abandoned

We passed this ruin on one of our walks in Lagos. I really liked it so I snapped a couple of shots.

PS: all editing for this and the previous picture done in the new Camera RAW and PeeEss Cee Ess Fore , which totally rock!

The church, another view

This is also the church in the Fortalezza do Sagres. I really like how dramatic the sky turned out above the white of the church walls. Hope you like it as well! The iPhone version is here as usual.

Another one with the adjust

This one was also done with the Adjust plug-in.
Let me know what you think!

New plug-in

I've been playing around with a new plugin I've found called adjust. It's from Topaz Labs and I must say it has potential, but it does require further experimentation. What do you think?

Please leave me comments on your feelings about it.

Church in the Fortalezza do Sagres

On the one cloudy day we had, we went to the fortress in Sagres. There was a lovely little church there and I was lucky to get this shot without any of the bloody tourists in it ;-).

Us... and our shadows...

On the way to our hotel there was this little spot overlooking the beach. I saw this images and had to snap a picture of it! It came out just as I'd hoped :-)

More beach

Another view of the gorgeous beaches of the Algarve. I really loved it there the nature was stunning.

Where my beaches at?

I obviously couldn't help myself taking this picture as we passed by. I quite like the result and like the title to go with it :-)
